In this campaign, people gather in different places and have organic meal. THE MEAL is sponsored by someone, meanwhile the participants pay certain amount voluntarily. The money raised is utilized for the noble cause that contributes to the betterment of the economically poor farmer and marginalized people. On this occasion the discuss the rights of local communities over land, water, forest and seed for Food sovereignty and prepare advocacy plan as required. For the last 5 years, Community Self-reliance Centre (CSRC) has been conducting THE MEAL campaign in Nepal, to promote a culture of health and nature friendly practices with regards to the farming and food habits. From this year, the plan is to collect some fund for THE MEAL.
